Octagonal Spread Footing — Anchor Cage and Concrete Pour
Fan, we're about to pour the foundation for Turbine T-12. This is an octagonal spread footing — 22 meters across, 3.5 meters deep at the center. What's the concrete volume?

Before we pour, let me walk you through the anchor cage. The L-flange insert ring is 4.8 meters in diameter, with 160 M48 high-strength anchor bolts. The anchor cage is embedded 2.8 meters deep into the foundation.

范工: All 160 bolts checked with the template — maximum deviation is 2 mm from design. The bolt projection above the flange is 380 mm, with a tolerance of ±5 mm. We've greased the threads and covered them with protective caps.

钢筋工长: Rebar cage is inspected and cleared. We have 85 tons of rebar in this foundation — 6 layers of bottom mat, 3 layers of top mat, and 4 layers of circumferential hoop bars around the anchor cage. Concrete cover is 75 mm.

Concrete Placement and Anchor Bolt Tensioning
Fan, the concrete pour is complete and the foundation has cured for 28 days. The cylinder breaks hit 5,800 psi — well above the 5,000 psi spec. We're ready for anchor bolt tensioning.

张拉技工: I've calibrated the hydraulic tensioner this morning. The bolts are M48, Grade 10.9. Specified pre-tension is 495 kN per bolt — that's about 70% of the ultimate tensile strength. We tension in three stages: 30%, 60%, 100%.
今早校准了液压张拉器。M48螺栓、10.9级。规定预拉力每根495 kN——约 为极限抗拉强度的70%。分三级张拉:30%、60%、100%。
范工: The tensioning sequence is critical — we do a star pattern, starting from the inner ring and working outward. Never tension adjacent bolts consecutively. After all bolts are at 100%, we do a second pass to verify none have relaxed.

张拉技工: First pass complete. Verified all 160 bolts at 495 kN ±3%. Second pass: 12 bolts needed a small touch-up — less than 2% relaxation, which is normal. All bolts now within spec.

Now the secondary grouting — fill the gap under the L-flange. Use a high-strength, non-shrink, flowable grout. The gap is 50 mm — inject from one side until it flows out the vents on the opposite side. No voids allowed.
现在做二次灌浆——填充L法兰下的空隙。用高强无收缩流动灌浆料。空隙 50 mm——从一侧注入直到对面出气孔流出。不允许有空腔。
