But it saves 6 weeks in transit — site delivery at week 23. Option two: we negotiate with the client to reschedule the commissioning sequence, doing the lower-voltage systems first while waiting for the main transformer. Neither is great, but option one protects the schedule.

The air freight cost hurts, but an 8-week delay costs far more in liquidated damages. Get me a firm quote for the air charter and I'll escalate to the project director for approval today. And lean hard on the factory — every day they can pull back helps. I want a daily expediting report from now until the transformer ships.

The piping team is complaining they can't find the 10-inch carbon steel elbows for the cooling water system. They say the warehouse system shows 24 in stock, but the physical rack is empty. What's going on?

Let me check... the system shows they were received in shipment CWP-003 and racked at location B-12. But I'm looking at B-12 now and it's empty. I suspect they were taken without a proper goods issue transaction.
